The winery is located in the basin of the Douro River and into it flows the Támega River, which crosses the Monterrei region from north to south.

It has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and cold winters. The area presents considerable thermal oscillations, of up to 30º during the ripening season.

As for the soils, in the region of Monterrei three types of soils are present: Slate and schistose, Granitic and Sandy and Sedimentary.
The result of the granitic and sandy soils, coming from the degradation of granitic rocks with low pH and suitable for white wines. is the white wine Godello D.O.Monterrei

A small family winery, just 2 hectares of vineyards, some centennial vineyards and lots of know-how. That is all it takes to create a great Albariño.

Set within the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin, this white wine is made from own strains, cultivated with dedication in a privileged area of Val do Salnés, with a mixture of traditional viticulture with more modern oenological touches.

The result is a wine made by "Albariño artisans", but with a unique and sophisticated character.

The banks of the river Avia, a tributary of the river Miño, on its passage through the county of Beade (Ourense), create a unique microclimate for winemaking. The river moderates the winter frost and the intense summer heat. Its banks of granite rock, and its recesses with multiple orientations, make the perfect equation to create a great wine.

In this enclave made for viticulture, there is a small family winery. For several generations, using Treixadura (80%) and Godello (20%) grapes, they have produced this excellent Ribeiro Designation of Origin white wine. Using practically artisanal methods to obtain a very solid wine, with a balanced palate and sensations of fineness and delicacy.

Excellent giant mussels from the Muros-Noia ría, where they are grown using artisanal methods, waiting patiently until they reach optimum maturity, which enables them to grow to such an extraordinary size. Harvested and chosen by hand, they are washed in sea water and then cooked. When this process is finished, they are covered in a traditional pickle and marinated with natural ingredients such as olive oil, onion, garlic and spices which soak through the mussels, giving them such a characteristic flavour and creating one of the best delicacies in gourmet preserves.
